Role Overview: 

As the AML Specialist based in London, you’ll ensure compliance with UK AML and CDD regulations during client onboarding. Reporting to the London Risk and Compliance Counsel, you’ll work closely with partners, clients, and global teams to maintain rigorous compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage AML and CDD compliance for new clients and matters.

  • Review and verify compliance documentation and global screening reports.

  • Monitor UK AML regulation changes and assist in policy updates.

  • Provide training on compliance processes and support compliance projects.

This is a mid-level position and would suit a compliance professional with at least three years of experience in a law firm, who has a solid understanding of UK AML regulations. The ideal candidate will be skilled in identifying, resolving, and escalating compliance issues, with strong research and analytical abilities. They should excel in organising multiple tasks under pressure, meeting deadlines, and communicating effectively with a diverse range of colleagues. Experience with complex company structures and a deep familiarity with AML/CDD policies and procedures are essential.
