As the Senior Knowledge Development Lawyer in the Corporate Private Equity team, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the firm’s knowledge resources remain cutting-edge. You will manage legal updates, precedents, and the internal know-how system, as well as deliver training to junior associates and support partners in delivering excellent client service. Working closely with the wider knowledge management team, your work will play a key role in enhancing the firm’s corporate legal expertise.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep the team informed of legal updates and regulatory changes, providing insightful analysis and tailored communications.
  • Manage and update a comprehensive bank of precedents, ensuring they reflect current legislation and case law.
  • Lead training sessions for new joiners, associates, and clients, collaborating with partners to ensure impactful learning experiences.
  • Develop and maintain internal knowledge resources, including best practice guides and transaction bibles.
  • Participate in firm-wide initiatives to improve legal process efficiencies, including the use of innovative technology and AI tools.


This role would suit a highly organised and proactive lawyer with at least 6 years’ PQE in corporate law, particularly within private equity. You’ll have a strong commercial focus, excellent drafting and research skills, and a keen eye for detail. The ability to collaborate effectively across all levels and build strong relationships is essential. This position requires a candidate who thrives on managing multiple priorities, works well under pressure, and is comfortable with IT systems used in legal practice.
