Our client, a prestigious international law firm, is looking for a Senior Conflicts Analyst to join their dynamic team in London. Reporting into the New Business Manager, this role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of the firm's operations, assisting partners and fee earners in relation to conflicts of interest identified during new business intake and providing trusted advice to lawyers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Provide guidance to fee earners on conflict matters, ensuring compliance with global regulations and bar rules.

- Work closely with the Office of the General Counsel (OGC) and partners on intricate conflict cases.

- Perform detailed research on clients, shareholders, and beneficial owners to ensure compliance with global conflict and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.

- Oversee both simple and complex conflict search requests, following client and matter risk policies.

- Manage reactivation and additional party requests, including Know Your Customer (KYC) research.

- Mentor junior team members, act as an escalation point, and guide them through the conflicts resolution process.

 

The ideal candidate will have at least three years' experience, a strong academic background, and a keen intellect. They must have excellent communication skills, sound judgment with confidential information, and be self-motivated and adaptable. Success in both team settings and under pressure is crucial.
