A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced corporate lawyer to step into a senior, strategic knowledge role within the London office of a US law firm. Working at the forefront of the Corporate & Securities practice, this is your chance to shape how legal know-how is shared, refined, and delivered at the highest level.

Why Apply?

  • High-impact, strategic role: Play a pivotal part in shaping and delivering knowledge strategy across a market-leading corporate team.
  • Global exposure: Collaborate with senior stakeholders and colleagues across multiple jurisdictions on high-profile, cross-border work.
  • Attractive package: Competitive six-figure salary and a flexible working culture designed to support your professional and personal wellbeing.

This is a senior position within the global Knowledge Management team, reporting to the Director of Knowledge Management (Europe & Asia) and working closely with the Corporate & Securities Knowledge Counsel and senior partners. The successful candidate will lead knowledge initiatives, streamline the creation and use of best-in-class legal resources, deliver engaging training, and identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency across the team’s client service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement knowledge management strategy aligned to the corporate team’s objectives
  • Draft, update and maintain precedents, standard forms, best practice guides, and training materials
  • Monitor legal and market developments, advising the team on risks, trends, and key changes
  • Deliver and coordinate technical training internally and support client-facing knowledge initiatives
  • Collaborate with legal tech, innovation, and project management teams to drive efficiency
  • Support the capture and sharing of know-how across teams through platforms and process improvements
  • Act as a sounding board on complex legal queries and provide risk mitigation advice when needed
  • Assist with thought leadership content, legal updates, and other strategic client engagement tools

Who This Would Suit
This role would suit a qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with a minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate law at a leading international firm. You will be technically excellent in English contract law and private M&A, with exposure to private equity or capital markets a plus. Whether you’re already in a knowledge role or a senior fee-earner with a passion for knowledge sharing and training, you will bring a proactive mindset, exceptional drafting skills, commercial awareness, and the confidence to engage at senior level.

Ready to Make Your Mark?
If you’re a driven legal professional ready to move away from fee-earning and into a high-impact, strategic role within a global, forward-thinking environment—this is the opportunity for you. Take the next step in your legal career and contribute to shaping the future of knowledge in corporate law.
