As part of the Risk & Compliance team, you will support the new business intake process, assessing potential conflicts of interest and performing key due diligence tasks. You'll work closely with partners, legal teams, and senior analysts, providing high-quality, time-sensitive research and guidance to enable seamless matter openings across multiple jurisdictions. This is a crucial role for someone looking to deepen their experience in regulatory compliance within a leading international practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and analyse conflict checks and KYC research using internal/external databases.
- Identify and escalate potential conflicts, offering practical, risk-based recommendations.
- Manage matter lifecycle tasks including openings, reactivations, party updates, and name changes.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and global (UK/US) ethical regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues across legal and compliance teams to support matter clearance.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to a streamlined and responsive conflicts process.
